ESSI’s web-based Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) is the heart of our System Health Management and condition based maintenance capabilities. The result of ESSI’s long history in the design, development and manufacture of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) is a low-cost solution for the conversion of legacy technical manuals or the creation of new manuals into fully hyperlinked IETMs, WebTM™. An entire family of IETMs can be loaded on a hard drive, CD or accessed from a server or over the Internet using commercial browsers.

The class IV IETM can be linked to diagnostic, prognostic and RFID/UID sensors embedded in a vehicle, either through a data bus or via RF. Information collected from the sensors directs the operator or maintainer to the appropriate operating, troubleshooting or repair procedure and related illustrations and parts manuals. For specific serial numbered systems, changes in the health or status of a system can be captured in the data base associated with the IETM or transmitted when required to both Legacy and to emerging Supply and Maintenance ERP Systems.

ESSIbuy has also converted technical manuals, both military and commercial, to IETMs and hosts them on this web site. Our military customers can identify and locate a specific part, point and click on the figure and add the part to their shopping cart automatically.
