ESSIbuy is teamed with three other ESSI subsidiaries, TAMSCO, Systems & Electronics
Inc. (SEI) and Fermont, to reset (refurbish and repair) the Army’s 2kW, 5kW,
10kW, 15kW, 30kW and 60kW trailer and skid-mounted generators recently
returned from operations in Southwest Asia.
The contract, awarded by the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey, is scheduled to last up to four years and has a $151 million ceiling.
Fermont, the U.S. Military’s primary generator supplier, will provide technical
expertise and overflow depot level repair at their factory, SEI, with a long
history in trailer design and production, will reset generator trailers at
their facilities; TAMSCO will provide overall program management and repair
services; and ESSIbuy will source, purchase, warehouse, manage inventory and
kit, using it’s state-of-the-art web-based Supply Chain Management and Purchasing
System. The contract requires:
Technical inspection/Teardown support
On-site repairs
Depot level repairs
Parts ordering and tracking (through ESSIbuy’s Automated
Purchasing System)
Generator maintenance parts, repair and cost using ESSIbuy’s electronic Logistics Support (eLS) System
